The Glass in Session® Winecast Launched May 2019
Glass In Session® is bi-weekly podcast exploring various aspects of the wine education, the process, the wines, styles, and cultural aspects.
While the host is serious about wine education, she’s just as serious about having fun.
Wine Geekery? Sure. Corkdorkery? Absolutely. Snobbery? Hell no.
Warning: You may detect notes of silliness and occasional snark, as the host has not been filtered.
When Can You Expect Each Session?
A new Glass In Session® will be in your feed (if you subscribe) every 2nd and 4th Friday. The show will run on three-month seasons, with a month off between seasons. This allows Val to regroup, shape the next seasons, and have some quality time with her honey, travel, and work on other projects.
Why Should You Listen?
Well, that depends. Some episodes may be of absolutely zero interest to you. Nobody gets upset if you aren’t digging chatter on yeast, mold, or other fun, funky winemaking specifics.
If you enjoy the out-of-the-box wine topics that give you a different perspective on wines, how they are made? Then this may be your bag. The focus is on what makes wines special, interesting, or downright fun. Yes, wine can be so much freaking fun.
While there will not be a blog for each episode, the resources will be linked in the show notes on the podcast’s host page, and in feeds that allow linking.
How Do I Get These Sessions?
First, they are free. All you have to do is go to any podcast catcher and hit “subscribe.” Every two weeks there will be a new session in your phone, as well as a fun new nugget of wine knowledge in your drinking repertoire.
